St. Henry Pastoral Council
The elected Pastoral Council is a consultative body that assists the pastor in planning for the needs of our faith community. Its purpose is to form community as a sign and witness of unity for the larger Parish community; to provide recommendations for Parish priorities, directions and policies through pastoral planning; and to promote communication and understanding among Parish organizations and between the Parish, the Archdiocese, and the universal Church. The Pastoral Council meets the third Wednesday of every month at St. Henry Catholic Church, and quarterly with the Pastoral Council of St. Mary Catholic Church for Bi-parish Council.

Faith Formation Commission
The elected Faith Formation Commission fosters the life-long growth in faith formation of all in our Catholic community. The Faith Formation Commission consists of members from both Catholic parishes in Marshalltown, St. Mary as well as St. Henry, along with the coordinators of religious education, youth ministry and RCIA.

Finance Committee
The Finance Council members work in collaboration with the Pastor and Director of Administrative Services on all aspects of the financial strength of our parish community. They help develop and advise the Pastor on matters pertaining to the operating budget.

Social Justice Committee
The mission of the Social Justice Committee is to create an atmosphere of service to the local community as well as the greater community. The Social Justice Committee oversees the Stewardship of monies to service organizations and the monthly Social Justice Collection. This committee is currently working on a new parish twinning project with a sister parish in El Salvador, St. Martin de Porres.
